Take the Lead - All 6 Major League Boston Teams

Take the Lead Fellow, August 2022-Present
The Take the Lead Fellowship is a unique opportunity where I have the chance to work with all six of the Boston and New England Sports Teams (Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, Patriots, Revolutions, and Pride) for a 5-6 week period of time to learn more about the Boston sports industry while also exploring different departments and opportunities.
  • Plan and execute Take the Lead programs and events and initiatives including redesigning the taketheleadboston.org website, Take the Lead Career Summit, and Take the Lead Suite Night
  • Work with the Boston Red Sox to host community groups, Make-A-Wish and Jimmy Fund youth for batting practice, a private tour of Fenway Park, and assemble custom gifts for each homestand
  • Ship and help manage over 200/month in-kind donations to community organizations, fundraisers, and silent auctions with the Red Sox
  • Assist at player appearances and events with event support and player escorts for the Red Sox and Patriots
  • Provided game day support at the Boston Pride home games including improving ticket sales and tripling revenue of the 50/50 raffle sales, assisting in the intermission game show, and serving at the VIP ticket sales table
  • Worked in the fan engagement, community relations, and corporate partnership departments of the New England Patriots to assist with the annual Lawrence Guy Foundation Baby Shower, surprise and delight Jet Blue partnership giveaway event, Encore Lucky Section game-day promotion, Salute to Service event week, and more
  • Created graphics, game-day signage, and social media posts for the marketing and creative division and Bruins Foundation for the Boston Bruins
  • Attended off-site Bruins Foundation and Community Relations events to help with event set up and facilitation

  • Oversaw a team of six students and worked with advisors to plan and execute over 100 events utilizing a $450,000 budget
  • Implemented a new Loyalty Rewards program and app and collaborated with campus partners on prizes and new events with a focus on participant retention and outreach
  • Collaborated with Babson College dining/catering, public safety, facilities and operations, and outsourced vendors to create immersive, engaging, and involved events
  • Emceed and lead crowd management initiatives during events and constantly utilized word-of-mouth marketing to generate excitement
VP of Marketing, May 2020-May 2021
  • Managed all CAB social media accounts and cultivated balanced posts between event flyers and candid photos 
  • Ensured that all CAB social media was in line and complaint with college COVID-19 policies
  • Created new brand guidelines for CAB, fostering a unified brand identity
  • Implemented new types of advertising techniques including utilization of campus LCD screens, google calendar, linktree, paper flyers, and more
VP of Events, May 2019-May 2020
  • Arranged contracts with all off campus vendors, communicated with campus partners including facilities, public safety, and dining to ensure locations and catering needs were met
  • Ideated and promoted all events catering towards 150-350 participants
  • Lead the initiative to convert all event and programming efforts to virtual after March 2020, a responsibility that was not expected of the CAB team
  • Emceed all in-person and virtual events, gaining crowd energy and excitement
Events Committee, September 2018-May 2019
  • Attended all events and assisted with set up and breakdown
  • Supported the e-board with event ideas and brainstorming
  • Collaborated with other committee members and created wish lists for prizes and event decorations
  • Designed several event specific t-shirts and specialty marketing materials when asked

Weissman Foundry

Wellesley, MA

Manager and Design Technician, September 2019-May 2022
  • Trained to teach on all Foundry equipment including the wood shop, laser cutters, sewing and embroidery machines, large format printers, and Adobe Suite
  • Oversaw a team of 30 student employees across three different colleges and directly supervise a team of ten to plan events, improve trainings, and manage the building
  • Organized events and student-lead workshops, ordered supplies/inventory, handled shift and event scheduling, and advertisement and marketing for events and workshops

Biz E. Beaver, August 2019-May 2022
  • Portrayed the Babson Mascot, Biz E. Beaver during spirit week, various athletic games, alumni and parents weekend, and other events
  • Assisted other Biz Mascots as "handler", driving them to events and taking photos for the mascot social media page
  • Created a bright and vibrant atmosphere whenever in the suit and brought excitement and enthusiasm to the campus community
The identity of the Bizs are kept a secret until the end of senior year.

Resident Assistant, May 2019-May 2022
  • Created inclusive programs for a community of 50 residents, provided campus resources and information, and conducted monthly 1:1 meetings and check ins with residents
  • Adapted all residential life to COVID-19 policies including helping residents understand social distancing guidelines as it pertained to residence halls
  • Provided assistance in crisis management and response 
  • Volunteered to go above and beyond with room check and preparation assistant during the opening and closing of residence halls

Alpha Kappa Psi Co-Ed Fraternity

VP of Membership, May 2021-December 2021
  • Scheduled and implemented a 10 event recruitment season and modified schedule from previous years to be more inclusive and accommodating to Prospective New Members (PNMs) as well as communicated with other campus business fraternities to avoid scheduling conflicts
  • Created 40 original t shirts from scratch and name tags for current members to wear during the recruitment season
  • Managed attendance for 100+ PNMs, sent frequent reminders for every event and deadline, sent email correspondences about Recruitment before and after each event to ensure maximum transparency
VP of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (inauguratory role), January 2021-May 2021
  • Evaluated and critiqued current standards for recruitment through a DEI perspective
  • Created DEI webinars and discussions for current members and asked thought provoking and productive questions, keeping in mind that current members have different backgrounds and familiarities with DEI topics
  • Collaborated with other Business Fraternity on "Women's History Month" week celebration, hosting an event each day to honor various women in business.

Massachusetts Chapter

Centennial Planning Committee, July 2022-Present
  • Research, plan, and ideate different event ideas, finances, and logistics
  • Designed the commemorative pin, logo, t-shirt, and coin for the Centennial Year
  • Manage the social media account for all of Massachusetts Rainbow and specifically help create, advertise, and push all Centennial-specific posts
  • Solicit constant feedback and cultivate survey responses for all activities by the current membership

State President (Grand Worthy Advisor), June 2020-June 2021
  • Ran for and was elected to serve as president for a youth community service and leadership organization serving girls ages 11-21
  • Converted all in-person activities and large scale events to completely virtual while keeping some regional events to gather members safely and foster community
  • Promote membership initiatives and host educational and fun events for all ages of members and adults
  • Organize membership engagement programs throughout the year including a zoom traveling initiative and photo contests to keep members engaged during the virtual year
  • Facilitate state opportunities for community service including canned food drives and decorating bags for meals on wheels. Reached out to multiple contacts to allow members to donate at different geographical points due to lack of gathering from COVID-19.
