TAKE THE LEAD CAREER SUMMIT

The Take the Lead Career Summit, the first since 2021, was held at Fenway Park's 521 Overlook and is designed to engage students, especially form diverse backgrounds, and professionals within the sports business on conversations related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to help prepare our emerging leaders for a career in the sports and entertainment industry.

Traditionally, the summit featured a keynote speaker and a Q&A with the current Take the Lead Fellow on their experiences in their fellowship rotations. This year, I wanted to create a more inclusive and beneficial program to our participants and incorporated a variety of career-boosting resources throughout the night as well as expanding the panel to include perspectives from entry-level positions at all the teams which fostered a more relatable and open conversation.
